Higher levels of angiogenic cells within the tumor microenvironment are associated with worse 5-year survival in TCGA samples. Kaplan–Meier curves are stratified by the median percentile of angiogenic cells where if a sample is above the median, it is assigned to the “hot” (red) strata while the remaining is assigned to the “cold” (blue) strata.
